Welcome to COSTAATT’s Mathematics Department. Mathematics is a tool that is used in most disciplines. This means that practically any subject area requires understanding of some concepts in mathematics. Our objective, in the mathematics department, is to guide you through the mathematics courses required for your programme of study. We want you to master the material and understand the real-world, practical applications of mathematics.

To date, graduates of our Associate in Science degree in Mathematics have gone on to UWI, St. Augustine to complete bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and other areas; UWI, Mona to do actuarial science, and UTT to do engineering. Some have also gone to universities in the United States.

We are convinced that knowledge of mathematics gives an individual the competitive edge. It is for this reason that we in the Mathematics Department are committed to excellence in this discipline. So come and join us and begin the journey to transform your life.
