Welcome to the Department of Radiological Sciences and to the study of medical imaging sciences and radiation therapy. The practice of medical imaging includes radiography which is the entry point to the more advanced imaging modalities such as ultrasonography, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

In the practice of radiation therapy, professionals use highly penetrating beams of radiation to treat cancerous tumours where they occur in the body. Radiation therapists can also pursue a variety of related careers in areas such as treatment planning and dosimetry.
