Entry Requirements
General Minimum Academic Requirements
The general minimum requirements for undergraduate programmes are one or more of the following:

CSEC (Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate) General or Technical Proficiency (Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC)): At least five (5) passes including English Language and mathematics at Grades I and II, and Grade III from 1998, OR

GCE (General Certificate of Education) Ordinary Level: At least five (5) passes including English Language and mathematics at Grades A, B and C, OR
-
High School Diploma or equivalent qualification providing evidence of successful completion of secondary level courses including mathematics and English
Please note: Applicants wishing to matriculate with Caribbean Advanced Proficiency (CAPE) or GCE (General Certificate of Education) Advanced Level passes or equivalent, must also meet the minimum academic entry requirements outlined above.
General Minimum Age Requirements
Applicants seeking entry to the College must usually be at least sixteen (16) years old.
However, certain programmes in compliance with relevant legislation, professional or industry codes require the following minimum ages:

Academic departments may specify additional entry requirements to those listed above. These may include but are not limited to:
Mature Applicants
Mature applicants who do not possess minimum entry requirements may be considered for entry into the College. In addition to information submitted on the standard admissions application, such applicants are assessed using various methods including: performance in college-administered challenge examinations; assessment through the College’s Prior Learning Assessment process; or interview to explore relevant training and work experience. |
