The College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT), is in the process of establishing an institutional financial aid fund in response to the impact of the recent reform of the GATE programme. This has resulted in the need for additional financial support for several of our students who, especially in these difficult economic times are struggling to make ends meet and are unable to pay for other college-related expenses; placing them at risk of not completing their programmes of study, even with GATE funding.
In this regard, the College has planned its inaugural fundraising event, Supporting Student Success. The concert, which will be held at the Central Bank Auditorium on Friday November 11, 2016, promises to be an excellent one, featuring performances by the renowned David Michael Rudder and 3Canal, with music and other performances by students of COSTAATT’s Performing Arts Music programme, under the direction of Senior Lecturer Wayne Bruno and other members of faculty.
Facilitating student success is the primary goal of the faculty, staff and management of our College. It is the guiding philosophy that enables COSTAATT to achieve its transformative mission.
