The College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT), through its Management and Entrepreneurship Department, will be hosting a series of activities in commemoration of Global Entrepreneurship Week from November 13th to 19th, 2017 at its City, Sangre Grande and South Campuses respectively.
The theme of this year’s celebration is “Transforming our Nation through Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship” and similar to last year, COSTAATT will invite two entrepreneurs from the business communities of each campus to a forum at which they share their entrepreneurial journey with persons in attendance. COSTAATT’s staff, faculty, current and past students, as well as students from secondary schools, will participate in discussions, workshops, and a mini business exposition.
The first in a series of events will take place at the COSTAATT Sangre Grande Campus on Wednesday 15th November, followed by the COSTAATT City Campus (Port of Spain) on Thursday 16th November and finally at the COSTAATT South Campus (San Fernando) on Friday 17th November 2017. It is anticipated that the discussion fora will inspire and steer participants towards an entrepreneurial path; and the workshops will help participants move their ideas from a static or dormant stage to market-feasible opportunities.
