COSTAATT Students Win Entrepreneurship Award
At the recently hosted National Entrepreneurship Development Company (NEDCO) Awards Ceremony held on Saturday, 30th January, 2010, students of COSTAATT won the Best Business Plan Award. Five students, Kevin Gooptar, Kim Lewis, Larry Khan, Ordellia Darlington and Nicole Lutchman, all from the Department of Mathematics, edged out competitors from the University of Trinidad & Tobago by one point to win this prestigious award.
Their submitted business plan was entitled "Child Care Centre." The competition was hosted jointly by the Ministry of Labour and NEDCO. The Awards Ceremony was held at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad.
