COURSE DESCRIPTION

In this course participants will be exposed to the essential skills and techniques to become an effective tour guide within their community.   Participants will explore and engage with content in preparation for the delivery of ‘edutaining’ presentations on specific sites and tours within communities. The course provides participants with a clear understanding of the tour itinerary, tour delivery, tour safety regulations and management of a tour. Participants will be introduced to basic general information about Trinidad and Tobago so as to successfully conduct tours at sites.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Persons who are patriotic and passionate about promoting and showcasing the country.
• Having an outgoing and energetic personality will be an asset.

Credential earned:
You will receive a Certificate of Achievement upon successful completion which is recognized by the Trinidad and Tobago Tour Guides Association
