This course is intended to introduce participants to Disaster Preparedness and Contingency Planning. Participants will be introduced to: the four steps in the Emergency Planning process; Emergency Management considerations; hazard specific information and information sources; risk identification and analysis, identification and analysis of alternatives; and cost benefit analysis. The course focuses on understanding the methods, logistics, and responsibilities of incident commanders; controlling incidents; and managing the resources needed to respond to disastrous situations within the company.
Applicants seeking admissions to this short course must be sixteen (16) years and over.
