COURSE DESCRIPTION

Introduction to Film is a basic overview of the film and video production process. The course introduces you to classic films, iconic filmmakers and the industry standard vocabulary of filmmaking. The course will involve discussions on the form and content of films as well as the technological developments in film production. In-depth analyses and screenings of works by contemporary directors and the founders of film are included.
