This introductory course in graphic design will help participants to develop design techniques for creating and enhancing persuasive messages. Participants will be taught design theory, creative problem solving, and computer publishing skills. The course includes basic electronic photo editing, graphics, and basic page design through the use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
This course is suited to persons with an interest in designing flyers, and/or who may have supporting roles in marketing and publication units or departments.
Applicants seeking admissions to this short course must be sixteen (16) years and over.
