About this webinar:
As CSEC and CAPE graduates await their results, they will be exploring opportunities for possible careers based on their personal interests and/or academic areas.  In addition, with the current COVID-19 pandemic, there is a level of uncertainty that may be factored in to their choice of career as well as the pathway to getting there.  This webinar will provide a forum for young persons to share their aspirations, seek advice and learn about ways to realise their career goals, to which the College can guide in its role as an institution of the community.

Meet Ines:
Ms. Gill-Grill has a background in Labour, HR and Theatre in Education.  She has taught at the ECCE, primary and tertiary levels with a total of 30 years of formal teaching experience.  In addition, she possesses experience in life skills training and supervision and has a passion for teacher training and working with youths.  Ms. Gill-Grill’s personal motto is “There is always an opportunity to learn something new, everyday.”

Meet Jason:
Jason C. R. Charles is a multifaceted professional who has two decades of experience in the Career Management, Banking, Educational, International Relations and Entrepreneurship industries. He leverages these experiences to help guide and develop individuals who seek direction in determining their right career path by equipping them with the tools and advice to be successful at their endeavours.  He has worked in the Career Management Department at COSTAATT for the past 10 years.

Mrs. Kissoon-Weekes came to COSTAATT with extensive experience in marketing having worked with international and regional companies including Nielsen Research and Unilever. Mrs. Weekes continues to work with various organisations and groups in the area of social media management as part of their marketing and promotional activities.

Meet Roger:
Mr. Roger Chung is the sitting head of department for COSTAATT’s Information Science and Technology programmes.  A Senior Lecturer whose areas of interest include machine intelligence and learning, databases and business intelligence, he holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science.  Mr. Chung is passionate about exposing individuals to the wonders of computers and information technology from basic literacy to advanced computer applications.

Meet Priscilla:
Dr. Priscilla Bahaw, a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at COSTAATT’s department of Management and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Bahaw works internationally in supporting students pursuing their Master’s degrees in Business and Entrepreneurship.  Through a mix of analytical dexterity, coaching, and student-centric techniques, Dr. Bahaw is able to include her research in the field of Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation into her courses; providing students with relevant and relatable content designed to challenge and enhance the student’s journey.  Dr. Bahaw has over a decade of experience in academia recently co-authoring a text book for advanced level studies in business management for Caribbean students.

Mr. Hamid’s experience spans work with fortune 500 companies, small and medium size businesses and family owned enterprises to grow their businesses through consultation and training. Mr. Hamid has most recently developed an entrepreneurial neuroselling system for medium to large firms and actively writes informative columns in the daily newspapers such as his current Entreprenomics column.
