She has served at all levels of the education system in Trinidad and Tobago and has been a special educator for the past twenty-eight years. She holds a PhD in Education; a M.Ed. with distinction in Youth Guidance; a B.Ed. with First Class Honours in Educational Administration; and a Certificate in Education, Teaching of the Hearing Impaired from the University of the West Indies.  Dr. Bobb-Ward is a former Head of the University of the West Indies Open Campus Trinidad and Tobago and also served as Site Coordinator of the location.

Meet Alvinelle:

Dr. Alvinelle Matthew is an HR professional with over 15 years’ experience mostly working in the education sector. She holds a PhD from the University of the West Indies and has a wide range of experience as an HR practitioner and an HR academic.  She lecturers in HR principles on a part-time basis and has published works on human resource development. She has worked in both private and public sectors responsible for providing human resource services to over 400 hundred employees. Her areas of expertise include strategic human resource management, employee-resourcing strategies, human resource development and performance management.

 

Dr. Matthew currently serves as the Vice President, Human Resources at COSTAATT, where her work includes planning, developing, and directing the administration of all HR functions; facilitating staffing arrangements; overseeing training and development programs; and implementing the performance appraisal process.  Dr. Matthew also ensures that policies and procedures are properly applied at the College in accordance with best industrial relations practices, while complying with government laws and requirements.

Meet Marcia:

Marcia Stanisclaus is an HR professional with over 20 years’ experience in the field. She is currently the Director, Planning and Employment at COSTAATT since 2009. She has experience in many functions of human resources including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development and compensation. Ms. Stanisclaus holds a BSc Management Studies (Special) from the UWI and has completed a post graduate diploma in Human Resources Management with the Heriot-Watt University. She is also trained in Succession Planning, Records and Information Management, Conflict Resolution and Management, Human Resources Management and Forensics of Academic Credentials and CV Fraud.

 

A results-oriented individual, Ms. Stanisclaus works together with the Vice President, Human Resources and team to provide strategic human resource services towards the continued growth and development of the College.

He currently writes a column titled, Entreprenomics, in a leading local newspaper and has published over 200 articles that gives advice to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and family business owners.

 

Sajjad holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Florida, MBA (General Management) from the University of Reading, and Master of Science in Business Psychology from Franklin University. He also has an Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising from the Family Firm Institute.
