Human and Computer Interface Design
This course will enable students to acquire practical, specific, effective, and best practice guidance and techniques to design user interfaces with high overall usability with high user satisfaction. The guidance and techniques will be provided in a way that is applicable to current software user interface projects. Students will learn how to develop the best information architecture for users, proper layout and design techniques, design modeling techniques and the planning and conducting of usability tests. Although students will examine general guidelines in application user interface design, this course slightly emphasizes Web based applications.
Applicants seeking admissions to this short course must be sixteen (16) years and over.
