COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is a foundation course that examines the key elements, genres, periods and styles of drama. Participants will become familiar with the principles and practices of drama, from the influence of the Greek dramatists to contemporary theatre. They will be introduced to a variety of plays and will also gain an appreciation of drama as a performed art.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants seeking admissions to this short course must be sixteen (16) years and over.
