Understanding Learning Disabilities
Learning disabilities can take many forms, with varying impacts on an individual’s life and behaviour. This course will enable participants to become aware of the various types of learning disabilities and how they affect a child’s academic development. Participants will also be exposed to strategies that they can use to engage children with learning disabilities.
This course is targeted towards teachers, academic advisors, academic counsellors, parents and guidance counsellors.
Applicants seeking admissions to this short course must be sixteen (16) years and over.
