Voice and Presentation
This course is designed to train your voice so that your oral presentation skills are enhanced. Voice training will involve imparting techniques that will help you to develop a more confident, broadcast-ready, voice. There will be one-on-one training and consultations, and students will have numerous opportunities to practice and develop their voice through the many speaking exercises and assignments the class requires. This course also trains you to become comfortable and proficient at speaking publicly to large and small audiences. You will be trained to perform well at conducting interviews and being interviewed, and chairing public functions and ceremonies. The course also provides a sound foundation to train for a career in radio or television, and helps students to overcome any anxieties or reservations they have about speaking to different audiences.
